The Russian team has been securing outstanding medals in the Winter Olympics Games 2022 held in Beijing, as another medal has come in the lap of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) team on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the short track speed skater based in Russia named Semon Yelistratov have secured the bronze medal in the game of the short track speed from Russia at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in China. The medal was won from the men’s 1500-meter race in the Olympic Games by the Semon Yelistratov.

He has been able to secure the bronze medal by clearing the distance in just 2 minutes 09.267 seconds in the short track speed game, and the 31-year old skater based in Russia stood at the third position in the Olympics Games 2022 in the Chinese capital.

On the other hand, Daejeon Hwang, based in South Korea, has secured the gold medal in the competition and stood at the first position in the game. He won the game by completing the game in just two minutes and 09.219 seconds and attained victory for the country.

Moreover, the second position was attained by Steven Dubois from the Canadian team in the game on Wednesday. The player has secured the silver medal within just 2 minutes and 09.254 seconds in the games in the Olympics 2022.

Since the Olympics games have started in China, Russia has attained a great position in the games as it has secured a total of eleven medals, out of which two were gold, three silver and achieved the six medals of bronze in the game. Now, the Russian Olympic Committee has been standing at the 8th position in the overall medal standings of the 20200 Olympics so far.

On the other hand, Germany has topped the chart as it has secured a total of five gold and three silver medal in the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, while team Sweden stood at the 3rd position after attaining the four golds, one silver and two bronze medals in the game.

The Winter Olympics Games has been held in Beijing as it started on February 4 and will end on February 20, 2022.
