The United States is continuously provided Kyiv with security assistance against the invasion of Russia to Ukraine. In the latest one, the country has provided a total of $200 million troops to Ukraine on Saturday, January 22, 2022. The senior US State Department officials give the information.
As per the official statement,” We are assisting Ukraine as the country has provided Ukraine with the new lethal defensive security assistance. The defenders’ contribution included the ammunition for the front line defenders of Ukraine”.
It further asserted that the first of the several shipments of the Ukrainian armed forces, which is a total of $200 million and further arrived in Kyiv on January 22, 2022. It also informed that there are more assistance or defenders to arrive in the country in the coming weeks.
Further, this past Tuesday, January 2022, a senior US State Department official also mentioned in the statement that the United States would give Ukraine with an additional defensive aid on top of what is already in the process of being sent should tension amid Russia escalation.
Moreover, amid the fear of the invasion of Russia in Ukraine, the United States has ordered the relatives of its embassy staff present in the country to leave the country.
As the United States citizens have been asserted to do the same and also said that the Non-essential embassy staff have also been asked to leave the country.
The state Department further asserted that the invasion of Russia in the country could happen at any time, so the embassy of the US remained open to assist the country.
Earlier, while facing an accusation, Russia has refused to have any plans for military action or incursion in Ukraine, but the US State Department warned the general public not to visit Ukraine and also Russia as the tension is surging between both countries and could lead the harassment against the citizens belong to the United States.
Russia has denied to have any plans for military action or attck in Ukraine.
