As the Russian invasion of Ukraine has stepped into its 41st day, another heart-wrenching development has been reported from the war-torn nation.
Ukrainian media organizations are continuously sharing news of mothers writing their personal details of their children’s bodies in case the parents get killed, and the child survives.
While taking it to Twitter, the Kyiv Independent wrote, “Ukrainian mothers have been writing contact details of their family on the bodies of their children in case if they get killed, and the child survives.”
It was mentioned that, “Europe is still discussing gas”, referring to the European Union’s decision to place sanctions on Russian goods and services but not on oil or gas exports. The source of the image is an Instagram post by Sasha Makoyiv.
It comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s blaming that Russia was committing a “genocide.” He also mentioned how children had been murdered by invading forces.
Several reports have alleged that Russian forces were using children as “human shields” as they attempted to flee. Last week in the Ukrainian town of Bucha, children’s bodies were discovered along with the bodies of the hundreds of people.
