The Security Service neutralized the information-subversive activities of 11 more pro-Russian Internet agitators in several regions of Ukraine.
In Kyiv:
counterintelligence officers of the SBU exposed a resident of the capital who called for “union with Russia”. For mass dissemination of such an “idea”, he created and personally administered several groups on Facebook, Telegram and Viber.
In Mykolaiv:
the cleric of the local UOC church (MP) was informed of the suspicion. According to the investigation, he publicly called on members of the religious community to support the Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine.
In Dnipropetrovsk region:
the subversive activities of two more enemy agitators were blocked. One of them turned out to be an employee of one of the critical infrastructure facilities of Dnipro, the other was an employee of an airline company from Kryvyi Rih.
The perpetrators in various social networks praised the higher military and political leadership of the Russian Federation and discredited Ukrainian defenders.
In the Kirovohrad region:
a network of Internet propagandists of the Russian Federation, which included 5 residents of the region, was neutralized. To spread destructive content, they created their own platform in Odnoklassniki.
There, the perpetrators called the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine a “fight against fascism” and agitated local residents to join the ranks of the occupying groups of the aggressor country.
In Vinnytsia:
two local residents who glorified the “feats” of terrorists and suggested erecting monuments to Kadyrov in the banned Odnoklassniki social network were exposed.
Investigative actions are ongoing for all the exposed facts to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the culprits to justice.
Complex measures were carried out by SBU employees in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office.
