The Security Service of Ukraine have nabbed another Russian accomplice in the stabilization measures in the liberated parts of the Donetsk region. He turned out to be a 26-year-old resident of Lyman. During the May of 2023, he gathered details for the Russian occupiers on the bases as well as the movements of the Defense Forces in the region.
He was most interested in the exact coordinates of the checkpoints as well as the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia.
He shared his details to the gunner of the tank company of the Russian tactical group “Kupol”, with whom he used to study at the school. Communication was maintained via the banned Odnoklassniki social network.
Additionally, the investigation set up that during the war for the Liman, the person that was part of it deliberately made it difficult for the Armed Forces units to move.

Based on the received proof, the investigators of the Security Service informed the defendant of the suspicion under Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (collaborative activity).
As per the details shared by the SBU, he is right now in the custody and the perpetrator faces up to 15 years in the jail.
