In the video, Press Secretary, Dmitry Peskov, added that, “Indeed, Ukraine was heavily militarized when the special military operation began. And as Putin said yesterday, one of the tasks was the demilitarization of Ukraine.”
“In fact, this task has been largely accomplished, because Ukraine is using less and less of its weapons, and more and more it is using weapons systems that Western countries supply to it,” shares Press Secretary, Dmitry Peskov.
He further added that, “What does this mean? That the countries of the West, namely of the North Atlantic Alliance under the leadership of Washington, are increasingly directly and indirectly getting into this conflict. They intervene in this conflict and become a party to the conflict.”
At the same time, he said that, “of course, this leads to the fact that the conflict drags on over time. This leads to the situation in Europe in becoming more tense and unpredictable. And of course, this obliges Russia to take more decisive measures to ensure the safety of people in the Donbas and the security of the Russian Federation.”
