A total of 203,766 people have been exposed to the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Russia on Saturday, February 12, 2022, as per the federal anti-coronavirus centre.
With the emergence of new cases in the country, the number of confirmed cases of the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has reached 13,934,560 over the past 24 hours in the country on Saturday.
The new positive cases of the novel coronavirus, the coronavirus growth rate of the positive cases against the COVID-19 pandemic, stood at 1.48 percent in relative terms, as per the reports of the health ministry.
As per the status of the admission of the patients in the hospital facilities, as many as 18,597 people have been admitted to the hospital facilities due to the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past 24 hours in Russia.
On the other hand, the country has witnessed a 3.55 perecnt downfall in the admission of the patients of the COVID-19 viral infection from the previous day, as the cases of the patients hospitalised due to the viral illness stood at 19,281.
In a total of 36 regions, the cases of hospitalisation due to the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has witnessed a decline. On the other hand, a total of 48 regions have witnessed an increment in the number of admission of patients who have contracted the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cases of the new variant called Omicron strain was registered in 84 regions of the country, as per the reports.
As per the status of the recoveries, a total of 112,658 people have been received from the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in the country and also discharged from the hospital.
With the emergence of the new recoveries, the toll of the total recoveries in the country has been increased to 11,134,291.
As many as 729 people have lost their lives due to the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 virus over the past 24 hours in Russia. Moreover, with the new fatalities, the number of deaths has been reached 339,542 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as per the health ministry.
