With another approval, the vaccine made by Russia called Sputnik V against the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus was recognized by Mexico on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
The director-general of the digital government of Mexico city named Eduardo Clark, has informed that the people who are aged from 30 to 39 will be administered the booster shots of the Sputnik V vaccine of Russia against the COVID-19 viral infection in the Mexican capital city.
While emphasizing the recognition of the vaccine in the country, director-general Clark cited,” The people who are under the age group in Mexico capital will have to receive the booster shots the vaccine called Sputnik V and AstraZeneca against the novel coronavirus”,
Since the vaccination drive has started in Mexico, a total of 7.27 million citizens of the Mexican city have received the required number of doses against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus and completed the full cycle of immunization. It means that as many as 96 percent of the total population of the city have been administered the vaccine of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, the first dose of the vaccine made by Russia called Sputnik V against the COVID-19 viral infection has been already administered to the population of the Mexican city who were aged from 40 to 49 with the re-immunized this year.
The cases of the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus have fallen down in the capital of Mexico as the numbers have been witnessing a downfall. A total of 1,800 people have been exposed to the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 virus over the past week. Moreover, it shows that as many as it was 4.5 times less than in Mid-January due to the COVID-19 viral infection in the country, as per the health ministry.
Earlier, on Saturday, February 12, 2022, the Austrian Economic Unit has also urged the country’s health ministry to recognize the Sputnik V vaccine of Russia against the COVID-19 to prevent labour shortages in the country.
