World famous fiction movie series Harry Potter’s most beloved character ‘Hagrid’ playing actor Robbie Coltrane passed away at the age of seventy-two on Saturday.
Not only for his role in Harry Potter but Robbie Coltrane was also known for his outstanding performance in James Bond films “Goldeneye” (1995) and “The World Is Not Enough” (1999) with Pierce Brosnan.
Robbie Coltrane gained a lot of fame and appreciation with his iconic role of paying as a former KGB agent-turned-Russian mafia boss.
The whole social media was grieving over the death of an excellent artisit. Instagram and Twitter were filled with photos and videos of his famous character Hagrid.
The Harry Potter cast shared their heartfelt condolences on Social media along with photographs and captions.
Famous writer of the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling, shared her condolences with a lengthy caption and shared a photograph with the late actor.
JK Rowling, on her official Twitter handle, shared, “I’ll never know anyone remotely like Robbie again. He was an incredible talent, a complete one-off, and I was beyond fortunate to know him, work with him and laugh my head off with him. I send my love, light and deepest condolences to his family and his children.”
The famous lead of Harry Potter, Daniel Redcliffe, wrote in a heartfelt caption while expressing Robbie was one of the funniest people I’ve met and used to keep us constantly laughing as kids on the set”.
Coltrane and Radcliffe starred together in all eight ‘Harry Potter movies, from the ‘Sorcerer’s Stone in 2001 to ‘Death Hallows Part 2’ in 2011.
In addition, Daniel Redcliffe wrote,” I’ve especially fond memories of him keeping our spirits up on ‘Prisoner of Azkaban,’ when we were all hiding from the torrential rain for hours in Hagrid’s hut, and he was telling stories and cracking jokes to keep morale up.
“I feel fortunate that I got to meet and work with him and very sad that he’s passed. He was an incredible actor and a lovely man.”
