The Advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, on Monday has shared the video of former model Yuliia, who has taken side against her dream to be model and chosen another path of serving in the Ukrainian army.

It is to be mentioned that the Advisor to the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Minister, Anton Gerashchenko took it to his official Twitter handle to share the video of the Yuliia, along with the description, which reads as follows, “Yuliia used to be a model and planned to have a career in that area. When the full-scale invasion began, she chose another path and became a combat medic. Yuliia was selected to join Liut (Fury) Offensive brigade.”

The video recalls that, A former model is preparing to serve in the Liut assault brigade. The modelling was hobby for Yuliia. Until February 24, she had plans in this sphere.

In the video, Yuliia could be seen as saying that, “I had plans, perhaps, for some contracts abroad. Those girls, who have left now, they have proved themselves very good in Europe. They are doing very well now. I am watching them. For myself, I realized that I want to be here.”

It is to be noted that Yuliia stayed and after a year gained new skills in tactical medicine. She became an instructor. The story further revealed that she chose the Liut because it was a new brigade of the Offensive Guard, which required different specialists, including medics.

While responding to whether it was difficult for her to pass the selection, Yuliia said that, “Considering that I was the only woman from Kyiv. Kyiv Oblast… but I was told that conditions were same for everybody. That is I knew at once where I was going. No one would pity me here. It was hard. Elementary physical endurance. I mean, my body was not ready for this. I knew I really wanted to get here, so I had no other choise. Moving onto the lower extremities! We see a lot of bleeding! I’ll apply a tourniquet.”
