Notably, it is not the first time that ICC is hosting any international cricket match in Dominica. But it has been in the eyes of the world, that Dominica is becoming one of the most preferrable destination for mega sports events, mainly for Cricket matches.
Moreover, it is not the first tour of Indian Cricket team to Dominica, but Indian team has also visited Dominica in 2011. The last time Team India played a Test match back in the capital city of Roseau, Dominica under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
It is to be noted that, Indian cricket player, Virat Kohli has also shared the picture with head coach Rahul Dravid from Roseau stadium recalling the 2011 match. Notably, Kohli is the only survivor from that team back in 2011, where current head coach Rahul Dravid was his teammate. While sharing the photo over Instagram, Virat Kohli added that,” The only two guys part of the last test we played at Dominica in 2011. Never imagined the journey would bring us back here in different capacities. Highly grateful.“
Considerably, Dominica has been growing out to stand among the developing nations across the world, as High Net Worth Individuals across the world are taking serious interest in Dominica. With the continuous growing industries across Dominica, it is also anticipated that it will soon become one of the favorite destinations for any sports event or mega events alike.
Dominica has been using the money generated from the investments made by the High Net Worth Individuals into growing the industry on top-notch scales.
It will also likely to put positive impact on the growing economy of Dominica, as with the growing investment, Dominica government likely to invest more into industry, which will automatically boost the island nation to stand among the developing nations.
