On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, as per the report of the anti- coronavirus centre, the number of cases of infection caused by the SARS-CoV- 2 (COVID) extended to 14 million in Russia over the past 24 hours. A total of 141,833 people have been exposed to the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in the country.

On the other hand, the number of cases of the COVID-19 was recorded at 12,128,795 on the previous day.

With the emergence of the new cases of the Covid-19, the relative growth of the positive cases reached 1.18 percent, which further shows the increment in the growth rate.

As per the reports, a total of 17,201 patients have been admitted to the hospital due to the deadly viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in Russia. On the other hand, the admission of the patients has witnessed declination as it stood at 1.6 percent today as compared to the previous day.

Further, fatalities due to the novel coronavirus have also been reported in the country. A total of 678 people have lost their lives due to the viral infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 over the past 24 hours in the country.

On the other hand, the number of people who succumbed to the deadly virus was 663 on the previous day. With the emergence of the new cases in Russia, a total of 332 690 people have lost their lives due to the deadly infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2.

Further, as per the status of recoveries, a total of 48,426 patients have been rec8vered from the deadly virus called novel coronavirus over the past 24 hours in the country and discharged from the hospital facility. On the other hand, the number of recovered patients from the deadly viral infection caused by the contagious mutant was 40,301. The number shows that over the past 24 hours, the rate of recoveries has witnessed a decline.

With the emergence of the new recoveries, the total number of patients who have been discharged from the hospital facilities has reached 10,337,008 so far.

Moreover, the rate of the patients who have been discharged from the hospital facilities over the past 24 hours has been dropped to 85.2 percent of the total number of those infected.
