Ex-Head of the Russian Tyumen region, Aleksei Dyumin likely to recruit a new team as he is getting ready to take a high position in one of the Russia’s law enforcement structures. The following details has been shared by the Advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko.
It is to be noted that, while sharing the reports over his official social media handle, Advisor Gerashchenko, noted that, “Information appeared in Russian media that ex-head of Russian Tyumen region Aleksei Dyumin is recruiting a new team as he is getting ready to take a high position in one of Russia’s law enforcement structures. The presidential administration allegedly supports him.”

While elaborating further on it, Advisor Gerashchenko, noted that, “Reportedly, Dyumin meets with potential candidates in Moscow restaurants and has already found his deputies.”
In the social media post, Advisor Gerashchenko, further said that, “Dyumin was named as the personal “adjutant” and one of Putin’s probable successors. In the middle of 2010s he headed the General Staff of Russian Land Forces, deputy defense minister and governor of Tula region. During Prigozhin’s mutiny, Dyumin allegedly negotiated with head of Wagner in Putin’s name.”
It is to be specifically mentioned that, Aleksei Dyumin has served as the Chief Security guard and assistant of the President of Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin before being promoted to lead the Russian President Vladimir Putin before being promoted to lead the Russian military’s Special Operations Forces, where he has oversaw the annexation of Crimea in 2014. The following years, he became the Deputy Minister of Defense.
