The Security Service of Ukraine has gathered proof base on another Russian traitor, who fought against the Ukrainian defense forces on the southern front. The information about the following has been made by the Security Service of Ukraine via their official social media handle.
While sharing the details about the following, SBU in the social media post, added that, “The attacker was captured by Ukrainian defenders at the end of June this year during a skirmish near the village of Pyatikhatky in Zaporizhzhia.”
According to the investigation, the detainee turned out to be a resident of the temporarily occupied Crimea. Due to his own pro-Kremlin views, he supported the Russian Federation’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
Noting to the details, in the month of January of this year, he voluntarily joined the 810th separate marine infantry brigade of the Navy of the Soviet Union, which was stationed on the territory of the Ukrainian peninsula.
Being in the position of a senior rifleman, the traitor took a direct part in combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vasyliv and Pologiv districts of the Zaporizhia region.
Earlier this summer, his unit was ordered to storm settlements in the region that had recently been liberated by the Defense Forces.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service notified the suspect of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).
He is currently in custody. An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The perpetrator faces life imprisonment.
Investigative actions were carried out by SBU employees in Zaporizhzhia region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office.
