Amid the growing tensions and ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, which is not taking a break, the United States has continuously provided military assistance to Ukraine. The country is aiding Ukraine in fighting against Russian aggression.
While speaking at the regular press briefing, White House Secretary Jen Psaki asserted that the United States is making every effort to support Ukraine in the ongoing war. In the recent support, the United States has sent a total of five planes to strengthen the military force of Ukraine so that it could firmly answer Russian aggression.
She further informed that more weapons and planes are on the way, which will be delivered to Ukraine.
She further exclaimed that on to say that the flights arrived a few days ago and another half-dozen plane with military equipment would be shipped soon.
According to the reports on various new media platforms, the United States, which has further assisted Ukraine in its struggle against Russian troops from the outset.
Moreover, the country has also recently approved the $800 million in security aid, which also included various other military weapons.
In the military support, a total of Howitzer artillery systems, 40,000 artillery rounds, armoured personnel vehicles, and also other armaments.
Earlier on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the United States Defence Department spokesperson John Kirby said that Ukraine had also received a contingent of new fighter aircraft, which also include spare components to bolster its air fleet capabilities.
However, Kirby noted that since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine began on February 24, the United States has yet not delivered a whole combat aircraft to Ukraine.
