The Advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, on Monday has shared the video of a Ukrainian farmer, who has refused to surrender his crops to the floods which were caused by the destruction of Kakhovka HPP.
While taking it to his official social media handle to share the video, Advisor Gerashchenko added that, “A Ukrainian farmer refused to surrender his crops to the floods caused by the destruction of Kakhovka HPP. Together with his workers, they put up a berm to stop the water. Then, if it overflowed, they used showels to put more ground there. They fought for two days and saved the farm.”

A Ukrainian Tiktoker who was filming the video, in the beginning added that, “Friends, I want to show you how a farmer fought off the flood caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP. Look what a berm he made. It is the Bug River over there, and it almost reached the top of the berm.”
He added that, “When in some places it overflowed, the guys threw the earth up with shovels, the tractor rolled the earth up. There was water everywhere. But it did not enter the field, did not reach watermelons. Carrots, cucumbers over there- the water did not reach it.”
In the video, Ukrainian TikToker further added that, “The farmer fought the flood for two days, then slept for 24 hours. Fight to the end and don’t give up even for a second!”
