UK citizens, who are unvaccinated, will now able to get entry into France

WorldUKUK citizens, who are unvaccinated, will now able to get entry into France

The citizens in the United Kingdom who have not yet been vaccinated against the COVID-19 infection will now be able to get entry in France under the facilitated entry rules. The latter has decided to place the UK on the green list.

The Consul General of France has confirmed this in London, Guillaume Bazard, as per the sources.

Bazard mentioned that beginning from March 31, the United Kingdom will be part of the green list, as well as the residents of the United States will be excused from additional entry rules and regulations.

Moreover, Bazard mentioned on its social media account, “On 31/03, the United Kingdom will be placed on the green list. Abolition of compelling reasons for non-vaccinated travelers, who must present a negative test (72 hour PCR or 48 hour TAG) – entry into force upon publication in the Official Journal.”

Under the new rules and regulations, the citizens of the United Kingdom who have not received their vaccination shots against the COVID-19 infection will be given entry to France as long as they present a negative test result that has been taken recently.

Along with this, the French Ministry of the Interior demonstrates that the nation accepts both the PCR and rapid antigen tests. This means that unvaccinated Britons can either present a PCR test taken within the last 72 hours or a quick antigen test taken within the previous 48 hours in order to be permitted entry to France without having to meet any other additional measures.

In the previous time, the unvaccinated individuals UK residents were required to provide a clear explanation for their trip and present a certified statement attesting to the absence of the COVID-19 symptoms.
