The special services of the Russian Federation are preparing new provocations against representatives of the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. Such data was discovered by the SBU in the course of counter-intelligence activities.
In particular, according to operational data, the employees of the 5th service of the FSB of the Russian Federation are planning a number of IPSOs, the basis of which should be disinformation about the alleged Russian citizenship of Ukrainian public figures, the leadership of the Defense and Security Forces and their families, as well as other officials.
“Believability” and the evidence base of fakes must, among other things, be provided by:
▪️ entry of the FSB into the state registers of the Russian Federation of records that are supposed to confirm the version of the enemy special services;
▪️ forgery of documents of Ukrainian public figures and representatives of the Defense Forces.
According to operational data, the start of the implementation of enemy IPSO in the Ukrainian information field is planned for the near future.
Noting to the details shared by the Security Service of Ukraine, “Having no success on the battlefield, the Russian troops are looking to use any methods to undermine the psychological and emotional state of Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines and destabilize the situation in the country.”
They have further made a call on the representatives of the Ukrainian mass media to be critical of the appearance of such “sensational” information.
