The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence against the Russian propagandist Serhiy Klyuchenkov, who has called for the genocide of the Ukrainian people.
The figure is one of the key bloggers of the pro-Kremlin publication Komsomolskaya Pravda, and also takes an active part in a talk show on another Kremlin mouthpiece, the Solovyov Live TV channel.
It is to be noted that from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Mardan publicly supported the aggressive war against Ukraine and justified the war crimes of the Russian occupiers.
It is noted that the attacker constantly campaigned for mass repressions against the civilian population of Ukraine.
In one of the live broadcasts, he has proposed to create concentration camps for the residents of temporarily occupied Ukraine who oppose the fascists.
Language and linguistic examinations initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of Mardan’s criminal activities.
Based on the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service notified him of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
▪️ h. 2 Art. 109 (public calls for violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or for the seizure of state power, as well as distribution of materials calling for such actions);
▪️ h. 3 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014, as well as the production and distribution of such materials using mass media);
▪️ h. 2 Art. 442 (public calls for genocide, as well as the production of materials with calls for genocide for the purpose of their distribution or distribution of such materials).
Since the suspect is hiding from justice on the territory of Russia, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice for crimes against our state. The perpetrator faces up to 8 years in prison.
The investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
