The Security Services of Ukraine has collected indisputable proof of the guilt of another Russian agent who was gathering intelligence on units of the Defense Forces in the Donetsk region.
SBU officers have arrested him as a result of a special operation in the frontline areas of the region in May this year. The court has sentenced him to 10 years in jail. As per the investigation, the attacker is a personal informant of the Russian terrorist Strelkov-Ghirkin.
It was on his behalf that the enemy henchmen tried to identify the locations & routes of movement of Ukrainian troops In the Sloviansk region.
He has also given the location of local state institutions & critical infrastructure facilities to the enemy.
It was established that he attacked the former “Minister of Defense of the DNR” via the banned social network “Odnoklassniki” after the beginning of the full-scale war.
There he offered Strelkov his “help” in the war against Ukraine.
The Russian agent transmitted classified information from his own e-mail account in the form of labels on electronic maps with a detailed description of the surrounding area.
According to the SBU materials, the court found the intruder guilty of:
▪️ Part 3 Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the sending, transfer of weapons, armaments and war supplies to Ukraine, movement, transfer or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Security Service emphasizes the inevitability of punishment for crimes against our state.
The investigation was conducted by SBU employees of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office.
