The Security Service of Ukraine has systematically exposed collaborators who helped the Russian invaders in spreading the Kremlin regime in the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. The details has been shared by the Security Service of Ukraine via their official social media handle.
As a result of comprehensive measures, the identities of 57 more collaborators were identified, who joined the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of the Kherson region created by the Russian Federation on the left bank of the region.
It was found that the recruitment of the Russian henchmen to the ranks of the occupying body was carried out by personnel officers of the FSB.
The details shared that, after receiving positions, collaborators were issued “certificates” and Russian-style uniforms, as well as firearms, which has allowed them to freely move around the captured part of Kherson region and carry out punitive measures against local residents.
During the raids, the Russian occupiers together with their accomplices kidnapped people right in the middle of the street and took them to Russian torture chambers. In the cells, people were subjected to cruel torture, including electric shocks and being left without water for a long time.
On the basis of documented crimes, suspicion was reported under Part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activity, voluntary occupation by a citizen of Ukraine of a position in illegal law enforcement bodies created in the temporarily occupied territory) to “officials” of the penal body of the Russian Federation.
The investigation was conducted by employees of the Main Investigative Department of the SBU together with the SBU Department in the Kherson region and the National Police under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
