The Security Service systematically exposes the crimes of Russian high-ranking officials who are involved in waging an aggressive war against Ukraine.
As a result of investigative actions, an evidence base was collected on the head of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport of the Russian Federation (Rosmorrichflot) Zakhary Dzioev.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the official contributed to the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country in the transfer of troops to the territory of Ukraine.
It was by his order that in August 2022 ferries of the Russian company “Oboronlogistika” LLC were involved in the organization of sea “traffic” from the Krasnodar Territory to the temporarily occupied Mariupol.
Subsequently, after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge, Dzioev ordered the establishment of a ferry crossing from the territory of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian peninsula.
In this way, the invaders transported the personnel, military equipment and ammunition of the Russian occupation groups to the southern front.
In addition, the Rashists used ferry “routes” to take looted Ukrainian grain to the aggressor country.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service notified Dzioev of the suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27 and Part 2 of Art. 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (planning, preparation, initiation and waging of an aggressive war).
Since the suspect is on the territory of Russia, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice for crimes against the state of Ukraine. The perpetrator faces up to 15 years in prison.
The investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
