A five-year-old girl, playing in Kostroma, western Russia, was allegedly snatched by the convicted paedophile and his male lover. They have reportedly raped and murdered the child.
Veronika Niolayeva was playing near her mother’s workplace, grabbed by two men, confirmed by the police.
According to reports of police, both the accused have sexually harassed the girl and raped her. They further stabbed the girl multiple times and killed her brutally. The police have found the body of Nikoleyeva in the duffle bag.
Moreover, police also said that one of the suspects named Denis Gerasimov, 44, had previously been convicted for the offence of pornography of children. While, another man named, Vadim Belyakov 24, was also arrested for the theft.
Reports also asserted that the nearby citizens did not pay any attention when girl was being snatched by the two men even she was struggling to fight back and also crying. Even no one has reported anything about these incidents to the police.
A mother of a little girl has reported the missing case, and police started the investigation.
One officer of the Russian Investigative Committee informed,” We have detained two suspects who have confessed their crime and the body of the victims were found in the residential hostel”.
Gerasimov was also released from the jail in March after serving his four and half year imprisonment as he has been convicted for alleged sex with an underage girl.
Further, when the suspects were captured by the police, the local residence urged people to hand over the accused to them.
The incident shocked the Russians, and they expressed their grief at the brutal murder. They asserted that the surveillance system for a paedophile is not that strong and give them the courage to commit this crime.
People in Russia are demanding immediate justice and strict punishment against the murderers.
