The Prime Minister of the island nation of Saint Lucia, Phillip J Pierre has mourned the loss of lives caused by the earthquake in Morocco. It is to be noted that the earthquake across Morocco has claimed over 2000 lives across the major cities and towns.
Considerably, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia took it to his official social media handle to express the grief over the Morocco earthquake. Notably, PM Phillip J Pierre has also extended sorrow to the families who have been left affected and suffered loss of their loved ones in the devastating earthquake.
While taking it to his official social media handle to express the grief over earthquake, PM Phillip J Pierre, said that, “In the face of this unspeakable tragedy caused by an earthquake, I want to express my sincerest condolences to the Government and the People of Morocco on the death of so many loved ones.”
Along with this, PM Phillip J Pierre, also extended prayers for the healing of the injured. Noting to which, he said that, “We pray for the healing of the injured, strength and courage for the emergency personnel and comfort for all who mourn.”
At the same time, in order to express support to Morocco, PM Phillip J Pierre has also shown willingness to remain standing for its friendly nation Morocco. Considering which, PM Phillip J Pierre, added that, “Do know that you have a friend in Saint Lucia, especially during this difficult time. May the souls of the departed, rest in peace.”
It is to be specifically mentioned that the death toll following the devastation caused by the earthquake continues to spike. Alongside this, the rescue team are working to save people in the isolated communities and also looking for people who are trapped under the rubble.
Moreover, they have also set up tents across some of the regions, while many people are coming ahead in order to donate their blood for helping those affected from this earthquake.
