The Prime Minister of the island nation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has extended congratulations to the St Kitts and Nevis Football Associations, along with the President Tiber Harris, his team, as well as the players of the national football team of St Kitts and Nevis. It is to be noted that, PM Drew took it to his official social media handle to share the wishes, adding that, “I would like to offer my congratulations to the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association, the President Tiber Harris, his team, and especially the players of our national football team.”
It is to be noted that the Sugar Boyz of St Kitts and Nevis have qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time in the history. The team has defeated French Guiana by 4-2 on penalties for clinching the spot in the tournament.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew in his message has added that, “Today is a historic day as we compete in the gold cup for the very first time.”
He said that, the government as well as the people of St Kitts and Nevis are immensely proud of their team, adding that, “We are immensely proud of all of you and we urge you to give it your all. We know that you are in a challenging group, but we are behind you 100% and will support you every step of the way.”
He further encouraged all to support Team SKN, adding that, “I encourage all citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis, no matter where you are in the world, to support and encourage our team.
