In the video, one of the Orlov resident, could be seen as saying that, “We can see that the situation is not very normal, that there are many Nazis who want to start attacking and bombing our neighbouring nations: Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk. A plane has already flown to our Oryol region, to an oil depot. The Nazis are uniting, asking for weapons, planes, tanks, and missiles. It is easy to fly from Ukraine to the Oryol region. Our house is multi-storey, multi-porched. In case of civil defence, our people have nowhere to hide, basement are not maintained, not equipped, in unsanitary condition etc.”
He added that, “But there is a former Plant of Computing and Controlling Machines nearby: in Soviet times, there was a bomb shelter there, which was designed for thousands of people. But due to the privatization and collapse of the factory, the building has been abandoned, everything possible has been stolen from there, and drug addicts appear there as well. This Is why we have a request, if the governor will not refuse to allocate financial resources.”
However, on behalf of the Orlov residents, he said that, “We appeal to you, to the Federal Centre, to the President to help the Oryol region, including the Northern District, to allocate the necessary funds.”
In an appeal, the people of Orlov could be seen as saying that, “Dear President Vladimir Vladimirovich, we, the residents of the Northern District, in particular house number 21 on Marinchenko Street, strongly ask you to influence the regional authorities so that people are not afraid to live, that they can wake up peacefully, because our house is huge, there are 11 porches in it. There is nowhere to evacuate in case of trouble. So we ask you to apply the power in such a case.”
