WorldRussiaNation trying to isolate Russia are only harming themselves, says Putin
The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, said that the nations which are trying to isolate Russia, are only harming their own economies.
During the address in the plenary session of the First Eurasian Economic Forum on Thursday, Putin said that it would simply be unfeasible and impossible to isolate Russia, and “those, who aspire to do so would harm themselves the most”, as per reports.
The President mentioned that the current state of the global economy clarifies that Russia’s position is right and justified, as opposed to the nations, which are trying to “pursue short-sighted policies.”
Those advanced economies are experienced their worst inflation in 40 years as well as growing unemployment, he said, adding that logistic chains were breaking, and global crisis were intensifying in such areas as food.
Putin said, “This is a serious issue that is affecting the entire system of economic and political relations.”
The Russian leader stated that the sanctions and restrictions, which intend to mainly weaken & contain nations that wish to pursue independent policies, are ultimately futile.
Putin said, “There are several nations that want to and will pursue an independent policy… and no policeman around the world will be able to control this global process… there will not be enough strength for this, & the wish to do so will evaporate due to a host of domestic problems in those countries.”
