‘When we win, the war will stop,’ says Prez Zelensky

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin on Friday stated that there were no plans to adjust Russia’s military operations in Ukraine despite a counter-offensive, stating that Moscow was in no rush the finish the campaign.

During a regional summit in Uzbekistan, Putin said that, “The plan is not subject to adjustment.”

Putin added that, “Our offensive operations in Donbas itself do not stop. They are going at a slow speed… the Russian troops are occupying newer and newer territories.”

“We are not in a hurry… there are no changes.”

Putin further added that, “Russia was not battling with a full army, but only contract soldiers & said the main goal of the campaign remained “the liberation of the entire territory of Donbas.”

He has blamed the forces of Ukraine of attempted to carry out “terrorist acts” and damage Russian civilian infrastructure.

“We are really quite restrained in our response to this, for the time being,” Putin said. “If the situation continues to grow in this way, the response will be more serious.”
