The Russian made vaccine called Sputnik V against the viral infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 has been considered as the most influential vaccine against various variants of the COVID-19 many times. As per the recent press release issued by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the vaccine called Sputnik V against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus has proved the most frequently used dose in Mexico City as more than 3 million people of the country have been administered the vaccine.

The information about the press release has been quoted by Eduardo Clark, who is the General Director of the Digital Agency for Public Innovations (ADIP) of the City of Mexico (CDMX).

As per the statement,” The Vaccine made in Russia called Sputnik V has played the crucial role in the vaccination drive initiated by the capital of Mexico as more than 3 million people of the country have received their required number of the shots against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus so far”.

It further stated that the first component of the Sputnik V Vaccine called Sputnik Light has also been increasingly administered by the country’s authorities among the citizens of Mexico and has been frequently used in the revaccination campaign of the city as booster shots.

The statement highlighted that the vaccine called Sputnik V accounts for 40 percent of all other vaccines against the novel coronavirus to the people in Mexico City.

Moreover, the authorities of the Mexican capital have also decided to use the first component of the Spiutbik V vaccine called Sputnik Light as booster shots to revaccinate the citizens of the country who were aged 30-39, and it began on February 14.

Moreover, people who are under the age group of 40-49 are also being administered the vaccine called Sputnik Light against the viral infections caused by the novel coronavirus in the Mexican city.

Further, the Sputnik Light has been recognised by the 30countries, which includes more than 2.5 billion; on the other hand, a total f 71 countries has approved the Sputnik V vaccine against the COVID-19 viral infection, which means the total population of over 4 billion people have received the Russian made vaccine.
