The Note series once set off the craze for large-screen mobile phones and once demonstrated Samsung’s latest and greatest technology. But this title now belongs to the company’s fold line. These devices were first launched in 2019 at the $1,980 Galaxy Fold. They use a flexible display that can be expanded to a tablet or fold smaller to protect the internal screen. Although Samsung may not launch a new Note this year, the company said that the product line is not dead. Samsung launched the Z Flip in February 2020, following closely behind. The retail price of the device is US$1,380. It is an outward-folding flip design and is a high-tech folding phone. Samsung upgraded it to a 5G connection and increased the price to US$1,450 in July of that year. It became the company’s most expensive mobile phone at a price of $2,000.
