While criticizing the remarks made by the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the decision of the Kazakhstan administration to take help from Russia to control erupted violence in the country, the Russian Foreign Ministry called them boorish.
US Secretary Blinken expressed his concern over the decision of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) to send troops to Kazakhstan as a part of the peacekeepers contingent on late Friday, January 7, 2022. ” I am very concerned as History always shows that once the Russian enters your yours, it is somehow complicated to make then out from the house,” noted Blinken.
On this remark, the Russian Foreign Ministry, through his telegram channel, expressed their angered and criticized,” Today, the Secretary of State of the United States, Antony Blinken made a joke of the tragic happenings and developments in Ukraine in a rude and boorish manner which is typical for him”.
The ministry further asserted that the decision of CSTO to send troops to Kazakhstan is genuinely valid.
While highlighting the historical approach of the Americans, the ministry added,” If Antony Blibken lives to know history lessons, let me remind you the incidents linked to Americans; once Americans come to your house, it is even to remain alive, not robbed and not rapped”.
Earlier on Friday, US Secretary Blinken has questioned the decision of the administration of Kazakhstan to take help from Russia and seek the Russian military to counter the violence that erupted in the country.
Mr Blinken further asserted that the US believes that the administration of Kazakh has enough potential to deal with the protest and violence and can take the situation under control.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared a state emergency until January 19 as dozens of people have been killed due to civil unrest in the country, which further invited the CSTO peacekeepers to control the violence and make the situation under control. Moreover, the Russian troops have already been deployed in Kazakhstan.
