Israel has made several changes in the protocols of the COVID-19 pandemic in the wake of good vaccination and controlled infection in the country. With the new changes, the government has cancelled the three-day isolation period, which was mandatory before visiting the country for the people who have inoculated the Russian made Sputnik V vaccine against the deadly viral infection.
Moreover, the tourists with Sputnik V Vaccine also do not have to show the PCR test of the COVID-19 pandemic after the arrival in Israel. It has also made the provision by the government of Isreal that they will accept the Russian-based certificates as proof of vaccination against viral infection. The vaccine named Sputnik Light as a booster dose against the coronavirus is also taken by Israel, as per the Russian embassy’s information.
According to the Russian embassy,” The government have cancelled the three-day mandatory isolation period and by Isreal government for the tourist from Russia. It has also withdrawn the mandatory testing with the PCR facility of the COVID-19 pandemic for the people who are travelling to the country”.
” Hence, the self-isolation period which was mandatory for tourists will be over upon the report of a positive serological, and a negative PCR test against the COVID-19 pandemic taken upon the arrival at the airport, providing the test cannot be taken more than 24 hours period. Moreover, the people who are vaccinated with the vaccine named Sputnik V against the COVID-19 pandemic are allowed to enter the country,” the agency said.
” Besides this, the authorities of Israel will also accept the certificate issued by the Russian government of the vaccination against the COVID-19 pandemic, and the vaccine that would be administered to people would be the Sputnik V vaccine as a booster dose,” it said.
Russia has also informed that they are providing free shipments of the vaccine named Sputnik V vaccine against the deadly viral infection to other countries such as Africa and many more.
