The Advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, has shared a video clip of the Deputy head of the Russian parliament. In that video, he could be seen giving an interview, saying that he apologizes to Russians for his daughter who spent two weeks in the US a while ago.
Along with the video, Advisor Gerashchenko, added that, “Deputy head of Russian parliament says he still apologizes to Russians for his daughter who spent two weeks in the US a while ago. He thinks that an experience of living in the West contributes to being a bigger patriot of Russia. For some reason, many of those patriots choose to remain in the West and love Russia dearly from there.”

In the video, the interviewer could be seen asking him that, “Your daughter even studied one time in an unfriendly country?”
To which, the deputy head of the Russian Parliament added that, “No, she did not study there, she went on an internship from the school- they were taken for two weeks, she was in the United States. This is a terrible sin, I realized that, this is my kind of global fault, because since then my daughter has grown up, graduated from university, went to work, and everyone still keep saying to me: You have a daughter in America, you bastard! These fat-faced deputies, they sold everything.”
“I didn’t sell anything. She went to America- please forgive me for that. When I myself studied, I studied in France, I received a second higher education there. And for that, too, I apologize. If it’s a crime, it’s terrible then. There is nothing special about this. We have so many people who today are the face of our country (that studied abroad- ed). And it seems to me that the most scalded patriots are those who lived there. Lived in the West- it is done!” says the deputy head of the Russian Parliament.
