Moscow: On Thursday night, a helicopter crashed while landing near a residential area in the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan. The accident claimed one life while leaving two persons severely injured, informed by the local Emergencies Ministry’s department on Friday, January 7, 2022.
According to the announcement of the local transport prosecutor’s office shared by the official Telegram Channel, it was the private helicopter that carried three people on board. It was en route from Ufa to the village of Pavlovka.
As per some initial reports, a helicopter named as Eurocopter AS350 rotorcraft crash-landed in the Blagoveshchesnsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It is further four kilometres near a residential area of Karagaikul. ” A total of three persons were present in the aircraft, out of which one was pilot and the remaining two were passengers,” Reports stated.
According to the information, one person was killed, and two were injured in the crash.
Further information stated that there were no damages to the infrastructure or casualties at the spot where the helicopter landed and crashed, and most of the information was given by the eye-witnesses present on the scene.
According to the reports of the Russian aviation services, the reason behind the crash-landing of the Eurocopter might be the technical malfunction in the aircraft.
In September 2021, a similar incident happened in Siberia. In the country that the aircraft was forcefully landed in which a total of four people have lost their lives. On the other hand, twelve people got seriously injured.
The incident occurred in the Irkutsk province, located in the Russian region of Siberia. In the incident, an L-410 passenger plane had carried out an emergency gambit. Moreover, the aircraft was also carried 16 people, out of which four people killed and twelve people got severely injured.
Also, the Regional Transportation Prosecutor’s Officer has informed that the dead people also included crew members and three passengers.
