The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, had a telephonic conversation with Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE)_NATO Allied Command Operations as well as the Commander of United States European Command, General of U.S. Army, Christopher G. Cavoli about the ongoing situation in and across Ukraine.
Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, took it to his Twitter handle to share the information about the conversation, which noted that, “Had a conversation with @SHAPE_NATO and @US_EUCOM Commander @USArmy Gen. Christopher G. Cavoli. Discussed the situation on the battlefield. It is intense, but controlled. The enemy tripled the intensity of hostilities on certain areas – up to 80 attacks daily. We’re holding the line.”
Meanwhile, General Zaluzhnyi also talked about the continuous surging situation of the battle between Russia and Ukraine.
In a series of tweets, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi further mentioned that, During the telephonic call, “Noted the problem of Russian missile attacks and the employment of attack drones. Our partners realize the necessity to supply air & missile defence systems to Ukraine & put significant efforts into it. I am sincerely grateful to them for their assistance and support.”
At the same time, the General of the U.S. Army, Christopher G Cavoli on the other hand has ensured to continue to provide help and security assistance to Ukraine.
