On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, the World Health Organization (WHO) has informed that more than 350 million has been exposed to the novel coronavirus across the globe. The overall confirmed cases related to the Covid-19 virus has increased and uproaring with the emergence of the new variants of the pandemic.

On the other hand, the number of fatalities associated with the deadly infection caused by SARS-CoV-19 has exceeded 5.6 million worldwide.

Since the pandemic has emerged across the globe, as many as 352,796,704 people have tested positive for novel coronavirus and come out as confirmed cases of the deadly virus. On the other hand, a total of 5,600,434 people have lost their lives due to the contagious mutant worldwide.

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 2,158,785 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus has been registered across the world.

As compared to that, a total of 6,189 people have succumbed to the deadly viral infection caused by SARS- CoV-19 over the past 24 hours worldwide.

Since the deadly virus outbreak across the world, the highest number of confirmed cases due to the novel coronavirus has been recorded on January 20. On the day, a total of 4,041,420 people have confirmed the deadly virus and got infected within just 24 hours.

The WHO’s official data has been confirmed by the respective countries. On January 8, 2022, the sad milestone of 300 million was recorded across the globe. Moreover, the threshold of 250 million was reported on November  8, 2021. On the other hand, the mark of 200 million was touched worldwide on August 5, 2021.

As per the status of the confirmed cases in the respective countries is that there are countries that have recorded the highest number of cases related to novel coronavirus across the globe.

The highest number of cases related to the infection caused by SARS-CoV-19 has been reported by the United States as it confirmed a total of 70,153,597 cases. It is followed by India with 39,799,202, Covid-19 related infections. After that, Brazil has recorded a total of 24,044,255 cases of the pandemic. Moreover, in France and the United kingdom, 16,347,127 and 15,953,689 cases of the novel coronavirus have been registered, respectively.

As per the status of fatalities, in the United States, a total of  (860,113) people lost their lives due to the contagious mutant. Further, it is followed by Brazil with (623,097) fatalities related to the Covid-19 virus. After that, it is  India with (490,462)death and Russia with (327,448) fatalities. At last, it is Mexico, in which a total of  (303,183 people succumbed to the deadly virus.
