Military counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine has detained another agent of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Federation during the special operation in the Kherson region.

The figure turned out to be a contractor of one of the military units of the Armed Forces, which is stationed in the region and performs combat tasks on the front lines.

At the behest of the Russian special services, the suspect has gathered intelligence about the unmanned aerial vehicles of the Security and the Defense Forces. The details about the following has been shared by the Security Service of Ukraine via their official social media handle.

First of all, the suspect was interested in the places of use of Ukrainian reconnaissance drones on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.

The game agent also tried to gather as much information as possible about possible counteroffensive operations of Ukrainian troops.

In addition, it monitored the firing positions of the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region.

The details added that, in case of successful execution of the tasks, the occupiers promised to “evacuate” her to the Russian Federation and issue a Russian passport.

The SBU employees detained the female attacker while trying to obtain secret information about Ukrainian military facilities.

According to the investigation, the contract worker was recruited remotely at the beginning of this year by a HR employee with the call sign “Dimka”.

She came to the attention of the Russian special services because of her subscription to various military-oriented groups on the banned Vkontakte social network.

In the future, the traitor communicated with the aggressor through one of the messengers, and transmitted the received information in the form of electronic coordinates with photographs of objects.

During the searches, a mobile phone was found in the suspect’s possession, which she used in intelligence and subversive activities for the benefit of the Russian Federation.

On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed her of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The special operation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Kherson specialized prosecutor’s office in the field of defense of the Southern region.
