NewsBlinken talks with Suadi, Emirates diplomates on Russia-Ukraine tension
On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State, had done discussion with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Skeikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the matter of building of Russian military near the border with Ukraine.
While mentioning in his statement, the Spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Price, asserted,” With the other bilateral and regional issues such as developments in Yemen, Ethiopia, and Sudan, Secretary Blinken and Sheikh Abdullah also discussed the buildup of Russian military near Ukraine’s borders.
Earlier this month, UAE has obtained a seat in the United Nations Security Council. Bliken has wished them on this achievement and said congratulations to them, underscored by Blinken in his statement.
After congratulating them, Bliken further started the discussion with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Emirates Skeikh during a call on the military buildup near Ukraine on Tuesday, Price noted in another statement.
Spokesperson Price further mentioned,” Various bilateral and regional security issues, including Yemen and Sudan, have also been discussed by the diplomats of both countries.
The meeting scheduled is fixed between Russian and the United States to discuss various geopolitical issues and resolve the conflicts between both the countries. Both the countries are all set to meet on January 10, 2022. The meeting will be held in Geneva, and they are going to meet personally with each other.
More importantly, the meeting will be held during the buildup of the Russian military on the borders of Ukraine and ongoing tension between Russia and the United States.
Russia was trying to invade Ukraine and was in complete preparation, but the United States and NATO raised their voices against it and showed their concern for Ukraine.
While denying the attempt of invading, Moscow has allegedly rejected all the allegations and said that their country has all rights to relocate their military and troops within the territory under their control and discretion.
On the other hand, the military activity of NATO near the borders of Russian can be dangerous for the security of Russia.
