The infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 has reached the Beijing Winter Olympics Games 2022. Around 45 people have been infected with the novel coronavirus who have arrived in China to play in the game, as per the statement issued by the organizing committee on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

The Winter Olympic Games 2022 has been held in Beijing, China, and various teams from different countries have participated in the game. In the wake of the ongoing pandemic of the infection caused by the novel coronavirus, it is mandatory for the players who have reached the country from outside China have to undergo the test against the viral infection caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to that, the4 countries, such as Russia, Georgia, have reached China to participate in the Winter Olympics and undergone the test against the novel coronavirus.

Moreover, the players from the various countries who have arrived in China to participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 have witnessed a sharp surge in the novel coronavirus infection as around 45 people have been exposed to the viral infection.

Moreover, on February 4, 2022, the players who have reached the country as 287 Olympic -related arrival have entered the country, which includes 138 athletes and also team officials. Further, around 149 people were the other stakeholders out of 287. The authorities of China have conducted a PCR test of the COVID-19 at the airport and at the Olympic village, and all the players have undergone the test against the viral infection caused by the novel coronavirus.

So, out of the around 45 people who have been exposed to the novel coronavirus. Moreover, from the infected people due to the COVID-19 viral infection, around 25 people were the athletes who were going to participate in the game, and some of them were also other officials. On the other hand, the remaining 20 were from those who have related to the Olympic arrivals.

Further, the Winter Olympic in Bejing is the 24th Olympic in 2022 in the Chinese capital, and it would have resulted on February 20, 2022.
