The security service exposed another official-collaborator during the stabilization measures in the liberated territories of the Kharkiv region.
According to the details shared by the Security Service of Ukraine, the attack, a 46- year old resident of Kupyansk, who before the full scale war of the Russian Federation worked as the head of the cargo department at the regional branch of Ukrzaliznytsia.
As per the notification, during the temporary occupation of the city, he went over to the side of the Russian Federation and voluntarily agreed on joining the so-called “Merchant Railway of the Russian Federation” which was created by the invading forces of Russia.
It is to be noted that there, he was appointed as the head of the “Service of commercial work and marketing.”
In this “position”, he has made contributions to the establishment of a railway connection with the Russian Federation for the unimpeded transfer of Russian troops to the eastern front.
For doing this, he has organized the “reformatting” of Ukrainian departmental documentation in accordance with the needs of the Russian legislation.
Following the release of Kupyansk, the perpetrator left the city and thus tried to avoid justice. However, SBU employees located him and detained him.
Currently, the enemy accomplice has been notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activity). The court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of detention. The perpetrator faces prison terms.
Complex measures were carried out by SBU employees in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office.
