The Security Service of Ukraine has gathered indisputable proof of the guilt of another member of the terrorist organization “DNR”, who battled against Ukraine.
At the very starting of the full scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the occupation groups of the 1st Army Corps of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.
As part of a reconnaissance group of Russian troops, he took an active part in combat operations against the Defence Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
In July of this year, he was tasked as part of a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group to conduct a sortie on the positions of the Armed Forces on the very front line to destroy the strongholds of Ukrainian defenders.
However, during the raid, the enemy DRG was promptly exposed and eliminated, and the militant himself was captured.
According to SBU materials, the court sentenced him to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
According to the investigation, the perpetrator is a resident of the Donetsk region, who after February 24 of this year, joined the 1st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle “Slovyanskaya” brigade of the People’s Militia “DNR” created by the Russian Federation.
There he was appointed to the “position” of a shooter, and later transferred to the intelligence group of the Russian invaders.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the court found the militant guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 (treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
