The Kremlin on Monday, October 24, said that France & Germany were showing “no desire” to take part in mediation on the Ukrainian conflict and praised the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s offer to organise talks.
The spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov said that, “Ankara takes a different position from that of Paris as well as Berlin, and has declared its readiness to continue mediation efforts.”
He added that, “The President of France, Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz- they are currently showing no desire to listen to Russia’s position or take part in mediation efforts.”
Over the weekend, the defence minister of Russia, Sergei Shoigu called his American, French, Turkish as well as British counterparts.
Shoigu expressed”concerns about possible provocations by Kyiv with the use of a ‘dirty bomb’, as per the Russian side.
After a short time, Washington, London as well as Paris has issued a joint statement “while rejecting Russia’s transparently false blames about Ukraine.”
At the same time, Erdogan has finalized aim to retain open dialogue with Russia & Western nations in Russia’s military offensive as well as emerged as a main mediator.
