“Kherson region is so very Ukraine”, says a Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina on her Twitter handle, referring to a video, she shared online showing people looking towards the Ukrainian soldiers and asking permission to hug them.
Victoria Amelina took it to Twitter to share the video, along with a caption,which reads as follows, “I wish you all could understand Ukrainian and so appreciate this unique tenderness, hardly translatable to any other language.”
She further added, “I know, when the local women call Ukrainian soldiers “our boys”, “khlopchyky” and ask permission to hug them. #Kherson region is so very #Ukraine.”

Through the video, it has been clear that love has no language. Amelina has shared it on Twitter and also wanted that people could understand the Ukrainian language so that they can understand when the local people are calling Ukrainian soldiers and are asking them in the local language to hug them.
The video has shown the love & respect people have for the Ukrainian troops saving their motherland from the invading Russian forces.
Meanwhile, several people were touched by the video, and expressed their sentiments, which stated that, “Even without understanding the language, we do understand.”
At the same time, several other comments read as follows, “No translation needed I’m old, but I will always be a soldier. May they all come back home safe and have a chance to grow old.”
Whereas, several other comments reads as follows, “No translation is necessary Hugs, tears and relief are the same in any language.”
