A video showing the destruction caused in the Russian-speaking Ukrainian city of Mariupol by the Russian army in its so called full-scale invasion has been shared by Glasnost Gone on their Twitter handle. It shows the entire city, which is almost ruined by the impact caused by Russian forces.
Along with the video, Glasnost Gone took it to Twitter, stating that, “Please can I have 2.20 minutes of your time. When they captured the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, Russia celebrated. Russia celebrated doing this to a city of 450,00, largely Russian speaking residents. This is what Putin calls the liberation of #Ukraine.”

He further added that, “Is it actually what Putin calls as liberating the Ukraine, like even capturing the city of Mariupol, which is the only city of Ukraine with the largest Russian speaking people.”
Responding to the video, several people were touched by the video and people are genuinely expressing hate towards Russia for doing this. One of the people, who commented on the post, stating that, “The Russians did the vast majority of the damage, they had the city completely surrounded for several months, hammering it with artillery, rockets, bombs and tanks. I’m sure the defenders did some damage as well, but they simply didn’t have the ammunition to do this much damage.”
One of the other people, who had commented on the post, stating that, “Mariupol is my hometown. It is now an open wound that will never heal. Mariupol is and always will be Ukraine!”
The video revolves around the city of Mariupol, showing huge infrastructures and buildings lying in the debris and are completely ruined by the continuous shelling, and attacks by the Russian army.
