SBU continues to expose Russian traitors hiding in occupied parts of Ukraine

WorldRussiaSBU continues to expose Russian traitors hiding in occupied parts of Ukraine

The security service systematically exposes traitors and collaborators who are in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Among the exposed accomplices of the Russian Federation is a recidivist, who in 2021 was sentenced to 10 years in prison for crimes as part of the Russian-controlled “Cossack National Guard of the Don Army.”

All this time, he was hiding from justice in the temporarily captured part of Luhansk region, and since September of last year, he headed the “Lysychan Fire and Rescue Squad” created by the aggressor.

Two more persons involved are a fitter of a provider company and a former official of the local unit of the State Emergency Service.

After the capture of part of the region, they supported the Russian invaders and voluntarily cooperated with them.

For this, the fitter was appointed the head of the “internal policy department of the Lysychansk administration” formed by the occupiers, the other headed the city’s “fire and rescue unit of the Ministry of the People’s Republic of China”.

All three defendants were notified of suspicion under Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activity).

In addition, the criminal actions of a former employee of the Ministry of Justice, who fled to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region in March last year, were documented.

There, she was in constant contact with the militants, justified Russian armed aggression and called on local residents to support the Rashists.

Investigators of the Security Service informed her of the suspicion under Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the perpetrator is wanted.

Comprehensive measures are underway to bring the perpetrators to justice for crimes against our state.

The investigation was conducted by SBU employees under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office.
