The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has extended thanks to Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau for the recent package of the defense support to Ukraine. The new package of the defense support includes, armored combat vehicles and armored evacuation vehicles.
It is to be noted that, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, took it to his official social media handle to share the update among the general audience. In the social media post, he added that, “We received a new package of defense support – armored combat vehicles and armored evacuation vehicles.”
While thanking Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, Ukrainian leader Zelenskyy also held detailed discussion on the strengthening of the Ukrainian air shield. Noting to which, President Zelenskyy, said that, “The strengthening of our air shield was discussed in detail. I greatly appreciate Canada’s decision to join F-16 pilot training.”
During the meeting, the leaders from both the nations have signed an updated Free Trade Agreement, which will become the base for the reconstruction of Ukraine. It is also shared by President Zelenskyy over his official social media handle, adding that, “An updated Free Trade Agreement was signed. This will become the basis for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Canada is one of our biggest donors, that’s very important. And I am grateful for the willingness to continue such support.”
The leaders from both the nations have held discussion on several aspects of peace formula. Noting to which, President Zelenskyy, added that, “Various aspects of our Peace Formula were also discussed. Among other things, what concerns justice – condemning Russia for aggression and compensating for all the damages caused by it. Thank you to Canada and for supporting our work to organize the Global Peace Summit.”
He further thanked PM Trudeau, stating that, “Thanks to Justin Trudeau for his government’s decision to purchase a new batch of missiles for air defense systems for the needs of Ukraine. This is very timely in view of the daily Russian missile strikes and Iranian “shaheds” on our cities and our civilian infrastructure.”
